A Pleasant Surprise

The lobby offered complimentary tea and coffee throughout my stay. I found a selection of newspapers and magazines available in the lounge. The staff was very helpful in providing directions to nearby attractions. I especially appreciated the convenient on-site parking it saved me so much time and hassle.

parking WAS free if you stayed at the hotel, which i guess is a bonus.

the room was VERY basic. there was no headboard or bedside tables. i saw litter outside the window AND the shower was not clean. I should NOT have to inspect surfaces before using them.

The television did not function. I believe the remote was faulty. The channels changed constantly, and I could not control the volume. the promised free WIFI was unavailable. I attempted to connect several times, but it never worked. I gave up after repeated failed attempts, quite frustrating.

The door to my room had holes. It did NOT close properly. The tea and coffee maker was just a kettle. there were no tea bags or coffee available. the carpet on the stairs was FILTHY. The smell was bad too.
